X-Rays In an effort to minimize patient costs, we will use current x-rays from your previous dentist. Please contact that office and request your child's x-rays to be sent to us, or arrange to bring them with you to the initial visit. If there are no appropriate x-rays available, we will take your radiographs in our office at the time of your appointment. Insurance Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of dental care. While it does help to reduce the full cost of care to you, it will not eliminate it completely. The uncovered portion is the patient's responsibility. As a courtesy, our staff will bill your insurance company and help you to receive the maximum benefits under your policy. We allow 45 days for payment from your insurance company. After 45 days, we request the patient to pay their balance in full, although we will continue to provide you assistance in collecting from your insurance company. Most plans include co-paym ents, a deductible, and other expenses, which we require to be paid by the patient the day of service. If you have any questions regarding your policy, please contact our office.

My 2 year old has had extensive work done on his front 4 teeth, without sedation and suffered severe emotional trauma that we are still helping to heal. Despite me making is very obvious that I was unwilling to retraumatize him with procedures done without anesthetic, I was on more than one occasion made to feel as though I was neglecting his physical health for as their office assistant blatantly told me "my own paranoia". I was belittled by this same office assistant for not having hospital fees within HER time frame to do the work on his teeth. When I fired them as the dentist for my children, they informed me that they would be following up with my new dentist and would be reporting me if his care was not to their standards. Bottom line--don't let the pretty fish tank and mural walls fool you--they have no idea what trauma does to a small child and the effects that can last them a life time. They are only concerned with making money and doing things their own way. Your child's whole self is not in their consideration.
