Description:

Hickory Hills Ski Area is a small, community ski slope, with eight beginner and intermediate-level runs serviced by five rope tows. The runs have a vertical drop of 240 feet, and the city also provides a few miles of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. It is just west of Traverse City, located about a mile from the southern shore of the Grand Traverse Bay.
